Some Important Messages for you…

Before School Care - Parents please be aware no Prep child is to be signed out prior to the bell, all prep children stay in our care until the bell and our staff  escort the children to their classrooms.

Parents please check all pages for your child’s name on the before school roll, there are at least 3 pages for you to view.  Children’s names are usually alphabetical by surname unless your child’s name is entered after the roll had been completed.  DO NOT enter your child’s name on the roll until you speak to a staff member…

September Vacation Care – Bookings Sheets have been displayed for the past couple of weeks now, with notices on doors etc to advise you.  Bookings for holidays close this Friday 27^th August.  Be quick….

Please keep checking the Lost Property Box in our Oshc room – we are accumulating a lot of lost items (jumpers, uniforms, lunch boxes, books, drink bottles etc) – your child’s belongings could be there…

Parking in Tilley Rd Carpark – Parents please take note of parking times in the stop drop & go area – We are continually being told by School Administration that our parents are ignoring these times and parking illegally to drop off or pick up their children from Oshc – this behavior gives us a bad reputation within the school community and hinders the parents who want to use this area for the right reason to drop off and pick up in a safe area.  Parents please be responsible as this is for the safety of all Gumdale school children.  DO NOT PARK BETWEEN 7AM – 9AM  and  2PM – 4PM…   Thankyou…

Our new website is now LIVE!!

We now have a new website!! Simply point your web browser to http://www.gumdaleoshc.com.au to find out whats happening at the centre. we have also set up a Parent Login section for our parents.

Tell us what you think about the new concept of receiving your newsletter via email – this saves not only a lot of time photocopying but also paper, ink in copier – we thinks it’s GREAT…  We will also be putting our Vacation Care programs and so much more onto our website for you to view, so keep your ears and eyes open as we all explore this new medium together.  If you have any suggestions please let us know – as they say “the world is our oyster”, well we thinks so……..Happy clicking
